Shoulder impingement syndrome. This condition occurs when the tendons of the rotator cuff rub against the bones of the shoulder joint, causing pain and inflammation.
Adhesive capsulitis. This condition is also known as frozen shoulder. It is characterized by stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint.

Elbows
Tennis elbow. This condition is caused by inflammation of the tendons that attach to the bony knob on the outside of the elbow (lateral epicondyle). It is often caused by repetitive motions of the arm and wrist, such as painting or using a hammer.
Golfer’s elbow/Little Leaguer’s elbow. This condition is caused by inflammation of the tendons that attach to the bony knob on the inside of the elbow (medial epicondyle). It is often caused by repetitive motions of the forearm, such as swinging a golf club or using a screwdriver.
Olecranon bursitis. This condition is caused by inflammation of the bursa, a fluid-filled sac that helps to cushion the elbow joint. It is often caused by direct trauma to the elbow, such as a fall or a blow.
Cubital tunnel syndrome. This condition is caused by compression of the ulnar nerve, which runs through the elbow. It can cause pain, numbness, and tingling in the elbow, forearm, and hand.

Hands
Carpal tunnel syndrome. This condition is caused by compression of the median nerve, which runs through the wrist. It can cause pain, numbness, and tingling in the hand and fingers.

Trigger finger. This condition is caused by inflammation of the tendons that bend the fingers. It can cause pain, catching, and locking of the fingers.

Wrists
Wrist sprain/strain. This is an injury to the ligaments or tendons that support the wrist joint. It can be caused by a sudden twisting or fall on the outstretched hand.
